Rules and Regulations of the library -
Before entering the library, keep your belongings at the designated place in the library.
Before entering the library, it is mandatory for the student to sign his/her name in the library entry register.
Maintain peace in the library and reading room
Use of mobile is strictly prohibited in the library.
For writing unnecessary words on books, magazines or tearing pages, the amount of its value will be recovered from the guilty student
A book will ordinarily not be given more than once.
After issue of the book, it is mandatory to return it within maximum 15 days. Otherwise prescribed late fee will be charged.
Study of reference and rare books is possible only in the library, these books will not be issued to any student.
If any book is lost by any reader, then the reader himself will have to buy the book of the same title and the same article from the market and deposit it in the library. If that book is not available in the book then the price of that book will have to be paid as per the library rules.
If any valueless document is lost by a student then Rs. 2 per page or Rs. 25 will be recovered from the student.
If a student loses even one issue of any magazine, he will have to pay the value of all the issues of that magazine for one year.
Personal work or having refreshments etc. is strictly prohibited in the library. A fine of Rs 20 will be payable for violation of the rule.
It is necessary to keep books, newspapers and magazines at designated places.
Library book bank has been arranged for economically backward students. For this the student will have to deposit the prescribed amount.
The amount deposited for writing unnecessary words on the books of the Library Book Bank will not be returned.
Do not bring valuable items to the library, the college is not responsible for loss of items.
Every item taken out of the library will be checked.
Every student will be issue library card, which the student have to keep safely.
If the issue card is lost, it will have to be immediately informed to the librarian, and a fee of Rs 20 will be payable for issuing a new card.
Students who want to get a book issued from the library will have to give the card to the librarian, the entry of this card will be done only by the librarian.
Only one book will be given from one card at a time.
If the library card is lost and is found to be misused, the concerned student will be held responsible for the same.
Latest issues of magazines will not be released. They can be read only in the library.
No dues certificate will be issued only after all the books and cards are deposited with the librarian.
